The first round of the annual Rotary quiz saw us pitted against Rhos on Sea R.C. for the third year running. With the score standing at one game each it promised to be a fiercely fought contest.
We were warmly welcomed by Rhos and also joined by several members of the Rotary Club of Biddulph who were doing a 90 mile trolley push to raise money for their chosen charities.
After an excellent meal, much enjoyed by all present, we split into our respective teams. We took an
early lead which although Rhos kept whittling away, we managed to win through in the end.
We await news of our opponents in round two - hopefully either at home or not too far to travel!
