Advocacy has been in Perth & Kinross since 1995, temporarily as part of a small managed project under the umbrella of another voluntary organisation, employing one Co-ordinator supporting around 16 active volunteers. The organisation became fully independent as a Company Limited by Guarantee in March 2003 gaining charitable status in January 2004.
