"President Philip and I received a very warm welcome at Bartley Junior School when we visited to present Dictionaries for Life to the Year 6 pupils. The school has just over 400 pupils. It was a privilege to be part of their assembly and to have the opportunity to address so many young people at once. Philip was able to explain a little about Rotary and how our club supports the local community.
The presentation to the 96 year 6 pupils took quite a while, even with two of us but the way they immediately started to 'get their noses into them' showed their appreciation. The staff were also very impressed with the dictionaries so overall it was an extremely worthwhile project." Rotarian Jane Wilson-Brown.'What We Do' Main Pages:
Supported by New Forest Rotary the Annual Gateway Games at Brockenhurst College attracted over 40 competitors with learning difficulties. Eastleigh won with New Milton 'M Chicks' winning the annual Rotary trophy for team spirit.
