Although the majority of the Club's activities are focussed on supporting local causes, we are always ready to help those in need and less fortunate than ourselves outside of the UK.

Much of our 'international' effort is geared towards the Aquabox project, which provides life-saving clean drinking water and humanitarian aid in response to natural or man-made disasters. You can find out more by visiting the Aquabox page in the What We Do section, or go directly to the Aquabox website.

We also actively support a number of other international projects and charities including:

  • Children-Nepal - through its sponsorship programme Children-Nepal promotes the education of children and the welfare of families in need of social and financial support.

  • Tools With A Mission - TWAM enables people to earn a living and to support themselves, through the provision of a wide range of tools, sewing and knitting machines and haberdashery.

  • Vision Aid Overseas - Vision Aid Overseas runs a nationwide spectacle collection scheme which operates to raise money for transforming access to eye care in developing countries.

We were extermely proud to receive the Rotary District 1220 International Trophy for 2017-18 in recognition of our achievements in the field of international work.
