Tour of the Botanic Gardens

A group of members, their wives and Sheena Leadbitter enjoyed a guided tour of the Botanic Gardens on the, rather chilly, evening of Wednesday 8 June.

Alasdair Hood, Curator, shared some fascinating facts about the development of the garden and about many of the plants growing there. He clearly has a passion for what he does which transferred to myself and the others in the group. I’ll definitely be going back and have been sharing my experience in the hope that others will visit too. The tour was followed by a meal at the Invergowrie Inn, with Gordon Ramsay, Trust development Officer for the Dundee Botanic Garden Endowment Trust.
