Sandringham Flower Show

Wed, Jul 27th 2016 at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We have a stand at the Show featuring Purple4Polio.

Club members please log in for more information.

As you know as part of this campaign, Rotary has forged an exciting partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), and together we aim to plant five million crocus corms to add a vibrant carpet of purple to communities.

The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary’s worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with its colour representing the purple dye used to mark the finger of a child who has been immunised, and with polio eradication now closer than ever, this is great opportunity to raise awareness and funds to help finish the job.

The Purple4Polio campaign and RHS planting partnership is a fantastic opportunity to build new and strengthen existing relationships with other community groups, as well as providing a chance to engage with the public and welcome potential new members.

We will be 'donating' the crocus corms in exchange for a donation to Foundation.

If you can help on the day, please contact Alan Haines, chairman of our Foundation Committee.
