This week's speaker is our own Donald Menzies. "Si vis pacem para bellum" is a Latin adage translated as, "If you want peace, prepare for war". The adage was adapted from a statement found in a book by Latin author Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus. Very apt on the anniversary of "D Day" !
