SUPER SUMMER SCOFF – This was the title of the cookery demonstration, on Friday night, by Carolyn Oliver, in the Catholic Church hall
The event was jointly organised, as a fund raiser, by The Friends of Hawick Community Hospital and Hawick Rotary Club.
Carolyn provided her usual excellent presentation, both informative and entertaining, before a large and appreciative audience, a few of whom were fortunate enough to win some of the tempting dishes which Carolyn had prepared.
The dishes demonstrated were: Broccoli Roulade with Salmon & Prawns, Strawberry Meringue Sponge, Roasted Red Pepper & Basil Chicken, Summer Berry Terrine, Little Gem, Pea & Avocado Salad and Parma Ham& Melon with a Lime & PeppedVinaigrette
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by John Oliver, Chairman of the Friends of Hawick Community Hospital
