500 Easter Eggs donated & the Berkshire Egg Run

Fri, Mar 25th 2016 at 12:00 pm - 12:00 pm

We helped distribute 500 Easter Eggs to good local causes

Each year the Thames Vale Vultures Motorcycle Owners Club do a wonderful job of asking shoppers to buy and donate an additional Easter Egg whilst shopping. This year they collected over 10,000 eggs!

They then organise a "ride-out" on Good Friday (Berkshire Egg Run) and the parade of hundreds of motorbikes through central Reading makes an impressive sight. Of course, some are festively dressed.

Reading Rotary Clubs help to distribute the eggs to deserving local causes. Reading Abbey Rotary Club provided 500 eggs to:

  • Wyfold Riding for the Disabled
  • Hampstead Norreys Riding for the Disabled
  • Ways and Means Trust
  • Reading Family Support Group North
  • Reading Family Support Group South
