If youv've been on one of our courses:

You can test your ability with the interactive Lifesaver or Lifesaver VR Android or iPhone app or by engaging with the website version at https://life-saver.org.uk

Look at these videos made by  St. John Ambulance to remind yourself of the skills you learnt. Note that they are not the same ones as we used in the Heartstart presentation.

And, when dealing with an unconscious casualty, don't forget DRS’ABC:-

  1. Check for Danger
  2. Check for a Response
  3. Shout for help
  4. Open the Airway
  5. Check for normal Breathing
  6. Call 999 and, if the casualty is not breathing normally, start CPR

South Hams Newspapers have an online map showing the locations of AEDs in the South Hamshere. There's a QR code each week in the paper which you can scan with a smartphone to bring up this map.
