In his final act as the 2015/2016 President ,Geoff Furzland  presented a very proud and pleased PP Liaquatali (Yakat) Govani, our new Senior Vice President, with his Paul Harris Award at the Handover Dinner.

Club Secretary Rtn. and PP Brian Taffs , our ‘Mr Rotary’, was awarded a 30 years Long Service Award and to top it off he also received a BGR (Bloody Good Rotarian) Award at the handover Dinner. Well done Brian.

Rtn. Raymond Leach,our club’s caring and popular Almoner, also received his Paul Harris Award from the almost Past President

Rtn. and Past President Gerry Harrington received a Paul Harris Award from President Geoff Furzland in one of his last acts as President before handing over to Rtn. Dr. Kochummen John.

George Larkey - Rotarian of the Year. 
Rtn George Larkey was presented with the Club's silver platter "Rotarian of 
the Year"  for all the hard work and  dedication that he has given to the 
Club as Chairman of the Vocational Committee" in  a very stressful year.
