On Tuesday 1st March 36 Rotarians and guests were treated to a gastronomic event held in the Dining Room of Dunfermline Golf Club, this consisted of 7 courses ranging from Wild Salmon, Mussels, Haggis Raspberry Vinegar and Ice Cream. We learned about the origins of the dishes and facts that the Vikings had such a big input on what we eat today. Also a fascinating fact about Haggis Hurling record stands at 65M for a 1.6 Kilo weight.
This was all provided under the guidance of Brenda Anderson of Tasting Scotland and cooked to perfection by the staff at Dunfermline Golf Club. A extremely enjoyable evening was had by all.
