The Rotary Club of Senlac have given a boost to the funds of Xtrax, the Hastings based charity for young people. At a Rotary meeting on 27 January 2016, Jan Barclay, a trustee of Xtrax, was presented with a cheque for £1,000 towards the charity’s work. Xtrax has been going through a difficult period but is nearly at the stage of reopening in different, newly decorated and refurbished premises. Xtrax provides help for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who may be homeless, abused, drug users or who have lost their way in life. Since the organization was founded in 1994, an average of 450 people making 6,000 visits a year have made use of the charity and support has been given to over 5,000.
