Club Meeting 1pm "” Dave Campbell

Dave Campbell was the speaker, and Ron Dunachie gave the vote of thanks.


Vice-President Bill Jones welcomed 13 other members, and reported briefly on the District 1230 Assembly he attended on Sunday.

Dave Campbell, who served in the Royal Navy for 30 years, spoke about his family connections with the army and the navy, and commented on how few mementos of their service three generations had.

Douglas Dow reported that Saturday's can collection at Helensburgh Co-op in Sinclair Street raised £576 for rotary community projects, while the one-man collection at the Art Sale by Bill Jones raised a further £21.

Adam Muggoch said that the District 1230 youth service convener had an engraved plate to present to District young photographer winner Kateryna Havrlenko, and he would arrange for a presentation ceremony at Lomond School.

The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was drawn by Dave Campbell, and the winner was Bill Jones.
