LAUNCH OF NEW DECKING AREA – MERSE HOUSE

//

Rotary working with local communities was in great evidence today. President Jean went along to Merse House, Kirkcudbright, to proudly open the New Decking Area.  The Rotary Club of Kirkcudbright have worked in partnership with friends and families to raise money to provide an outside area which will ensure that all residents will have the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the views across  the estuary. Today Mon 28th Sept 2015, residents and their families gathered together to witness Karen Sheridan Managing Director Scotland and —Martin Holmes Regional Manager - South Scotland CIC and Jean Best, President of Kirkcudbright Rotary Club cut the ribbon to formally open the Decking Area. Residents and guests were treated to a celebration drink and refreshments. All were enjoyed out on the decking in the wonderful September sunshine. Eileen Devlin, current manager of Merse House, was thrilled with the outcome, even the weather was first class.
