Results of the Charity Golf Competition



Black Bull Golf Team win Rotary Charity Event

This years' Club Charity Golf Competition, held on Thurday 13th August, proved to be a great success, raising a massive £3,949.

The Club thanks the Duns Golf Club, its Greenkeepers and Caterers on presenting such a fantastic course and in providing excellent food throughout the event.   Thanks also go to main sponsors: Farne Scotland, Greenvale AP, Simpsons Malt, Berwickshire Housing Association, A&R Brownlee and to all Businesses which sponsored holes and donated raffle and spot prizes.

Thanks go also to the 31 Teams which took part. Congratulations go to the winners, The Black Bull for their tremendous performance in taking the main prize.

The results were:

First - Black Bull, (Stuart Patterson, Russell Patterson, Keith Cockburn, Iain Renton), 99 points

Second - IMWT, 96 points

Third - The Hibbies, 95 points

Fourth - Croppers, 93 points

The money raised goes to provide support for local needs including Santa's Sleigh, Senior Citizens Lunch and to "Kids Out"
