Pinner Rotary Barbecue

Would it, wouldn't it? On Friday the forecast was rain all day for Sunday so gazebos were planned.On Saturday the forecast had improved but still with some rain so a gazebo was erected, by Sunday we were grateful for the gazebo providing us with shade from the brilliant sunshine! 

Such are the stresses of planning a barbecue in the British summer, but the weather was perfect in the end and everyone had a good time thanks to the excellent organisation of the Social Committee. 

We had a feast of meat produced by our expert barbecue chef, accompanied by the delicious food everyone brought with them, and of course the odd bottle of wine. Then we enjoyed some outdoor games and the opportunity to relax and catch up with our fellow members and partners, Inner Wheel ladies and Friends of Rotary.
