Kids Out 2014

On 13th June 1990 the Rotary Club of Kingston took handicapped children on a day out of fun and happiness. It proved so popular that a national charity was soon created and now 25,000 children are given a fun day out each year under the auspices of Rotary

Fifty children and staff from Rumworth School, which caters for those with complex needs and learning difficulties, enjoyed an exciting day out at Blackpool Zoo recently, courtesy of the Rotary Clubs of Bolton and surrounding areas.

The weather was exceptionally kind and on a warm sunny day, the children were able to marvel at the animals in their pleasant surroundings.

The visit was organized by the Rotary Club of Horwich. - Rtn. Ted Wisedale.
