President Lesley Kennedy welcomed nine other members to the meeting.
Secretary Donald Fullarton read an email he had received from visiting member Brenda Steele McCrimmon, who said she had been doing a lot of travelling, much of it between Cove and Dundee, and was soon returning to America.
She wrote: "As it stands right now, the US Navy is mobilizing me to Central Command in Tampa, Florida, for one year beginning the end of September. We'll see if everything actually happens. If so, I won't see Scotland for a whole year. A bit heartbreaking, but that's military life!"
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by John McCormick.
