SPEAKER - Dorothy Dix CEO 'Creating Better Futures'

Partners Evening - this is a joint activity with the other Rotary Clubs to be held at Maidenhead Golf Club.
The charity 'Creating Better Futures' believes that education is the key to over-coming poverty in Zimbabwe, transforming the lives of orphans. They enable vunerable children to go to school, receive nourishment and basic medical care.
Our speaker will be Dorothy Dix, a member of the Rotary Club of Reading Matins, who was born and brought up in Zimbabwe. At just sixteen years old she received the life-changing opportunity to attend High School at The Red Cross Nordic United World College in Norway and the University of Reading in the UK. She co-funded Creating Better Futures, which supports the education and welfare of vulnerable children and adults in Zimbabwe:
