James Winnett & the House for an Art Lover and Mackintosh

James Winnett is an artist and is the tour guide at the remarkable House for an Art Lover in Glasgow 's Bellahouston Park, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1901 and built 90 years later. James will lead us on a 'virtual tour' of the building, taking in all the rooms of the house while exploring the broader context of the competition for which the house was designed, the work of Margaret MacDonald and the impact the drawings had on the development of architecture in the 20th Century.

Information about the House and the many events and courses which they run is also available here www.houseforanartlover.co.uk
