PHF Award for RC of Chestfield member Kathyryn Wilson

Fri, Jun 26th 2015 at 5:18 pm - 6:18 pm

Kathy received her Paul Harris Fellowship Award at a special lunch meeting at Kent College where members of their Rotary Interact Club could also be involved.

Kathy is a Founder Member of Rotary Club of Chestfield, back in 2004, and has served in many roles including President of our Club. Kathy set up the Interact Club at Kent College and has helped it develop over the years working to improve things in the Community at home and abroad by personal involvement of members and their fundraising activities. It also gives them an insight into Rotary and hopefully will encourage them to stay involved after leave Kent College in the UK or for many at home overseas. Each year the members change and they elect a male and female president for that year to develop the projects they wish to support. Kent College have been very supportive of the Interact Club and it’s an option for all students in their last year to join. Kathy also works in other areas of the Community and Rotary and our Club members felt unanimously that this award should be bestowed on Kathy for her work.
