Alzheimer's Society donation

Wed, Jun 17th 2015 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Club presented the Society with a donation towards support and research in helping people with dementia.

At our weekly Club meeting on 17th June 2015 we welcomed Liz Hopkinson of the Doncaster and Rotherham branch of Alzheimer's Society and we presented Liz with a cheque for £1,260 towards the great work that the Society does in our local community and across the UK, helping people with dementia, their families and carers.

Alzheimer's Society is one of the charities chosen this year by our President Lis Rodgers who was delighted to make this contribution on behalf of Doncaster St Leger Rotary Club.
