2015 AM AM Golf Day
Despite the wet weather, the 12 teams competing in the clubs fifteenth Am Am golf event had a very enjoyable day at Forrester Park Resort in Cairneyhill
C-Bril representing Condies Business Recovery emerged victorious with a team total of 87 stableford points, closely followed by The In-betweeners representing CRA(Alloa) Ltd with 84 points, Foundry Steels with 83 points and Shoosmiths Law Firm with 81 points.
The golf was followed by an excellent 3 course meal, the prize giving , silent auction and finally the raffle, in which all participants won a prize!
With great thanks to all supporters, from participants to sponsors and club members who assisted in the running of the event, a total of just over £4000 was raised on the day, from which a donation will be made to Maggies Cancer Care Centre in Kirkcaldy and to other local charities and good causes
At our recent Club meeting on 22 September a cheque for £1,870 was duly handed over to Maggie's Fife. The Club welcomed Joan Nicol of Capital Consultants, Alan Chalmers of Campion Homes – both companies have strongly supported the club`s AM AM golf event for Maggie’s charity. Tumong Edwards from Maggie's graciously aaccepted the cheque. (see photograph)
