Palfrey Award 2015

Jane and Robert Chapman along with President Arthur and Community Services Chairman, David Collins

The 2015 Palfrey Award was presented to Jane and Robert Chapman of Living Springs, Stourbridge.

The Rotary Club of Stourbridge has presented Jane and Robert Chapman with the  2015 Palfrey Award in recognition of their valuable and unstinting work for vulnerable children and their families, caring for them at the Living Springs Residential Centre in Bridgnorth Rd, Stourton.

Living Springs was founded by Jane and Rob in 1985 when they made over part of their home to help vulnerable teenage mothers and their children, providing care, support and most of all hope.

Jane was awarded the MBE in 2011 for her work with the charity.

Today  the charity also runs a Debt Advice Centre from the Vines Restaurant in Stourbridge High Street.

The Stourbridge Club is supporting Living Springs as one of its charities this year and Jane and Robert were presented with a donation along with a certificate at the Club’s meeting on 13th May 2015.
