Marina has only been cycling for the past 4 years yet in 2013 she was selected to represent Guernsey in the Natwest Island Games in Bermuda as part of the strong Ladies Road Cycling Team.The team achieved Team Silver in the Road Race and Team Gold in the Time Trial.

Further success followed when she was selected for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow racing against some of the best lady cyclists.

After deciding to concentrate on Time Trialing this season she entered the Tour of Cambridge TT in June which was a a qualifier event for the UCI World Cycling Tour. Following this event she was given the opportunity to take part in UCI Amateur Time Trial World Champion in Aalborg and Hobro, Denmark in September - racing in the colours of Great Britain. This was a massive opportunity to ride against some of the top riders from all over the world.
