The club meeting on Tuesday featured a talk by Nikki Cunningham and Pippa Neville on the Crossford Playgroup.
This was a very interesting talk on this long established playgroup, which has been held in the Crossford Village Hall for over forty years.
The group recently reduced the minimum age to two and a half years old. 
The organisation recognise the importance of education, but their emphasis is very much on learning through play, helping the children how to interact with one another.
 
The playgroup have plans to purchase a Smartboard, which will enable all the children to see and learn together rather than individually through an ipad.  For the purpose of purchasing the Smartboard and accessories (Approx
