All seven primary schools located in Bridge of Don competed in the opening round of the Primary Schools Quiz, a district-wide competition.

Hosted at Oldmachar Aacademy, the event was organised by members of the Aberdeen Balgownie Rotary Club. All teams were supported by a good turnout of parents and school mates.

While all the teams performed well the clear overall winners were Danestone Primary School with a score of 84 points. Greenbrae Primary were a close second with 80 points and Scotstown were third on 77 points.
