Rotary Shoebox Appeal

The gift of a shoebox that contains toys, toiletries, educational items or household goods is a drop of happiness to the people of Eastern Europe who live in a world of poverty. For many, it will be the first present that they have ever received.

In 2016 we filled almost one thousand boxes!

Two hundred Rotary shoeboxes were filled by students from Ampthill, Flitwick and Shefford schools in 2015.

Busy helpers all over Bedfordshire are filling the boxes ready to be sent away to children and teenagers in Eastern Europe who otherwise might receive no gift at all. Our supporters include those from Samuel Whitbread Academy, Monkey Puzzle Nursery, Wrest Park Nursery,

Ampthill Scouts, Redborne Upper School, Woodland Academy, Alameda Academy, Russell Lower School and The Firs Lower School.

A number of people also asked if they could fill a shoebox individually and of course we said yes!

If you want to join us and have a go at filling a shoebox in 2016 just contact us through this website. We'd love to hear from you

But hurry! The boxes leave Bedfordshire on their long journey in early November.
