The Britsh Red Cross

A charity close to our hearts these days ...

Margaret Musgrave is the Senior Community Fund Raiser for the British Red Cross here in the north east of England - her "patch" is east of the Penines, from the Tweed to the Tees.

Margaret gave us a polished presentation in which she outlined the history of this world wide organisation that is proud of the fact that they "help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are".  From floods in Morpeth to earthquakes in Japan, in world wars and local conflicts, Red Cross (and the associated Red Crescent) are there to help.
