Report Peter Lane Golf 2014

Peter Lane Memorial Golf 2014

President Dave arrived at Trethorne Golf Club on Wednesday, together with his team of enthusiastic Rotarian golfers, to play out the Peter Lane Memorial Trophy. This was the 20th year that Club members had assembled in memory of Peter. After two days of grueling golf on a very challenging course, but in wonderful sunny Cornish weather, President Dave was an excellent host, and a great time was had by all.

Sadly, just one week later. President David Trigg passed away whilst on a charity bicycle ride in the Cotswolds.

The Newent Club now hold an annual golf day in his memory, and members compete for the David Trigg Memorial Golf Trophy.
