Helping hand for Torbay Scouts

Presentation to Torbay Scout Group

TORQUAY Rotary Club's charity fundraising often benefits the younger generations and the latest example was the presentation of 1,000 to the 20th Torbay Scout Group, which has its headquarters on the campus of Torquay Boys' Grammar School. The immediate past president of the club, Roger Avenall, is seen handing the cheque to Group Scout Leader Ann Arscott. Showing some of the equipment purchased are, from left, scouts Harry Fox, Tom Snow, Tom Martin and Sam Kneath.
