Eynsham Rotary and the Carnival

The slogan on the float says it all.

Eynsham Rotary - A Carnival Participator

The annual Eynsham Carnival is one of the oldest of its kind in the county, having celebrated its 70th year in 2016. Main attractions include a parade, outside stalls and craft fair, arena acts, fun fair and the famous shirt race.

Every year Eynsham Rotary club provide manpower to help with the smooth running of the Eynsham Carnival. As a general pool of manpower we help to man road closures, sell tickets, serve tea, in fact we do anything required to help.

We also have a small group who enter a float; Alan Longford, Keith Pimm and Chris Plaistow have won two first prizes and one second prize over recent years.
