Visit to Bexhill FM


It was another opportunity to promote the activities of the work that Rotary does to support local, national and international charities when John Coles, President of Bexhill Rotary Club and Vernon Findlay, Chair of PR and Communications committee were invited to be interviewed on Bexhill FM. 

Bexhill FM operates from Bexhill High School for two weeks each year and aims to bring the community together with a combination of music, interviews and chat. It is an excellent opportunity for young people to demonstrate the skills they have learnt at school and college.

John and Vernon were interviewed by Louis Walker and were proud to be able to remind listeners about Rotary activities in the community. These start with the youngest; Reading Partners is where Rotarians and others work with individuals or small groups to help them with reading and comprehension. This can be extremely rewarding, particularly when these primary school students say things like,
