Sleepout at Canterbury Cathedral to aid of homeless in Canterbury

Our Sister Club Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise organised a C.E.O. Sleep Out on 20th Sept 2013 in aid of Catching Lives and Porchlight both Charities assisting the homeless in Canterbury raising over £24,000-00 for these deserving Charities.


Chestfield have supported Catching Lives with clothing and food for the homeless at Christmas as well as donating funds to Porchlight in the past so when this proposal came up we knew we had to help.

Luckily, we had our Charity Golf Day on 20th Sept so could not get involved directly (we were there in spirit if not in body!) but we heard one of our former members Liz Crudgington, who reports for a local newspaper, was going to take part so we forwarded our
