Stirling Rotary Meeting September 13th. 2013

President Martin Ross welcomed members, together with visitors Satnam John and Christine Hancox, the speaker. 
Senior Vice President David Paterson will be in the chair on the 20th., when a number of members will be visiting Rotarians in Zurich.
Christine Hancox then spoke about the work of Start Up Stirling, of which she is part. 
The initial aim of the organisation was to support individuals and families who were moving into accommodation and lacked the basic necessities,
in the way of food.  Start Up Stirling began operations out of a local Methodist church, later moving to a unit in Stirling Enterprise Park,
with Christine joining 6 years ago.  At that time, Start Up was issuing 50 packs a month, which has now grown to 250.
