Local Community Projects
We are very proud to work with the Local community in many ways, from raising money for local good causes through to providing events and facilities for the people of the town. This section tells you more about what we do.
To local people here in Wickford, Rotary may mean a Christmas Sleigh with Santa & his helpers each year (2012 even saw an invitation for Santa to attend a wedding ceremony). For others, it may be the Annual Jazz on a Summer Evening Concert, perhaps the monthly Quiz Night or maybe the annual firework display. Whichever, its Rotary in action locally, raising funds and supporting local & international charities.
Like many service organisations today, the club is keen to maintain its support of the local community. The pages below here tell more of what we do.
