Bob Shah visits Kenya

Club Member Rtn. Bob Shah recently visited Nairobi, Kenya to attend a family wedding.  In his spare time Bob decided to visit local Rotary Clubs.

He was able to visit the Rotary Clubs of Muthaiga Nairobi, The Rotary Club of Utumishi Nairobi and also the Nairobi Parklands Rotary Club.  He even tried to attend a fourth Rotary Club but was told upon arrival at the Club Premises that the date of that particular Club had been changed!  Rtn. Bob said that he was really pleased in that there were so many Rotary Clubs in Nairobi who were all doing very good work in and around Nairobi to provide basic needs to many of the very poor in Kenya.

At every Rotary Club he visited, each Club had several ongoing Projects all aimed at helping the very needy.

At the family wedding, he was privileged to have been asked to look after the Chief Justice of Kenya Dr Willy Mutunga who is the Chief Justice/President, Supreme Court of Kenya.  Both of them were able to exchange some very good views about Kenya and England.

Rtn. Bob has been made aware of some Projects by the Clubs he visited where it may well be that the Luton North Rotary Club will get involved.
