New Generations District Finals

 The finals of New Generation competitions have now taken place.  

On February 8th the final of Youth Speaks was held at Theatr Clywd Cymru and our two teams from Denbigh High School (Senior) and St Brigid's School (Intermediate) debated the same topics as in the club heat

•  St Brigid's School -  " Vote BDD!"    Ban Dad's Dancing

• Denbigh High School  -  " The UK should use fracking to help meet its energy demands" 

The Young Chef final was held on February 15th at Deeside College and our representative was Lydia Jones of Denbigh High School.

Myfanwy Tranmer of St Brigid's School (vocalist section) and Daniel Latham of Denbigh High School (instrumental section) represented the club at the Young Musician final at Poulton Hall on February 23rd.

All did very well.  Lydia was runner up and will now go on to the Regional final at Coleg Llandrillo on March 16th and Myfanwy won the vocalist competition and will represent the District at the Regional final at The Grand, Clitheroe on Sunday March 17th.
