2013 FTSE Week 7 Results
The FTSE 100 certainly had a bit of a roller coaster week. At one point it exceeded 6400 points and then went down to below 6300 but at the end recovered to 6336 some 8 points up in the week.
Dave Riddell maintains his leading position with Robin Adam taking over second place. One or two movements up the table have caught my eye notably Ken Richards moving up from 22nd to 5th and John Trotter going from 31st to 6th
As you would expect, there thave been a number of winners and losers:-
Winners---Melrose Industries & Capital Shopping Centres [Now known as Intu Properties] advanced by more than 15% while Polymetal International, Rexham Plc, Severn Trent and Standard life put on more than 10%.
Losers--- International Consolidate, Kazakhmys Plc an RSA Insurance group lost more than 9%.
