First night back at the Buccleuch.
Working with surreal illumination Ian Morrison had the honour of being the first speaker of the new age with us back at the Buccleuch after 12 months in the capable hands of Ian Mitchell at the Auldgirth Inn.
Ian Morrison gave a fascinating explanation of the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier project at Rosyth including as you might expect a knowable account of the chosen propulsion systems. Being an expert in Dutch made engines similar to those to be fitted in the carriers we knew we were in safe hands.
The idea of a possible visit to Rosyth was enthusiastically received by members.
