Message from our President Ian

We are a friendly group of professional men and women living or working in and around Henley-on-Thames and the surrounding villages of South Oxfordshire. Henley is one of the liveliest towns in the area famous for its annual Royal Regatta and for a plethora of festivals music, books, films, food, theatre, art, crafts - throughout the year.

We meet on Wednesday evenings at Badgemore Park Golf Club - for approximately 2 1/2  hours - for fellowship, a meal, a little Rotary business and loads of interesting speakers. We also organise other events which vary from country walks, meals out and visits to interesting places such as Bletchley Park.

We also have a Breakfast group that meets at 7.45 for 8.45am twice a month.

During the year we organise several fundraising events and the proceeds are distributed to local charities or to specific needs overseas. You may have taken part in the Half Marathon  one of our bigest fundraisers

There is a small turnover of members who move away from the area so we always welcome enquiries from new people. If you are new to Rotary or have recently moved and want to find a new club we extend a warm welcome to you. Come and join us on one of our Wednesday evenings, make new friends and find out about the worldwide family of Rotary.

We hope you will see that Rotary is an effective and enjoyable way of addressing the issues of today.

Ian McGaw - President, Henley Bridge Rotary Club
