Let's be honest - the weather this day was dreadful. We started as a group of 14 but 4 cried off before leaving home. 10 of us turned up at the pub of whom 2 changed their minds at the last minute, which left 8 of us to do the walk. It was raining when we set off and eased while we were out. We ended up doing a truncated version of the walk, to avoid the muddiest stretches. In fact, apart from a slippery strech walking alongside a stream in Harrold, it was good going.
We persuaded an unsuspecting passerby to take the team photo. Unfortunately, because it was so wet, the lens was fogged up so not ideal. Because of the curtailed walk we ony covered 3.9 miles, but Mike has promised we can do the whole thing next year.
