GARDEN PARTY

A Garden Party was organised at 11 Laburnum Grove, Cleadon. There was a hot buffet and desserts, with beer, wine & soft drinks to buy. The event was a success, despite the rather wet weather, which meant that most people were indoors.
About 60 people attended and others who could not be there were kind enough to make donations. There was a tombola and book stall to raise additional funds. The weather improved later in the afternoon, so that a number of those present were able to take part in a clock golf competition, won by Ken Shewan. Over
