Senior Citizens Christmas Party - 2012
The Club held its annual Old Folks Christmas Party on Saturday 15 December in the "Old Cattle Market". This year's event was organised by Rotarian Chris Dale with the help of a dozen Club members. As usual, the ladies from the Inner Wheel provided a variety of sandwiches, cakes, sausage rolls, etc and Porthleven Town Band provided Christmas entertainment for around fifty guests from Age Concern and Help the Aged.

On Saturday 17th December the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard entertained local senior citizens to a Christmas Party in Carleen Village Hall. The Ladies of Inner Wheel provided a delicious lunch, and Porthleven Town Band played a medley of seasonal tunes and carols. The event was organised by Rtns George Blight, Chris Dale and Ray Harris. Rotarian Peter Mueller debuted as Father Christmas to present gifts. Thanks to everyone who contributed to an excellent event.
