PR & Communications

The work of the PR and Communications committee.

Just like it says on the tin, 'PR & Communications' involves competent management of how our club, and Rotary in general, interfaces with the public, the media and one another.

Effective communications are used to project an accurate and positive image of what Rotary is about, who we are, what we do and about our core values. We achieve this through our website, our press releases, our profile, presence and projects in the community.

People are surprised to learn that we are a global organisation of over 1.2 million members, they are surprised to discover that the Rotary Foundation donates $2 million a week to humanitarian work - some are even surprised to discover that we are not a secretive gourmet club that bars female members!

PR & Comms also handles corporate branding, club signange, print design and management and IT.
