ANNUAL YOUNG CHEF COMPETITON

Each year youngsters from local schools compete in the Rotary organised Young Chef of the Year competition

One of the most rewarding events of the Rotary year is the Young Chef competition, where local school-children produce some amazing dishes with stunning table settings

Ten aspiring young cooks from three local schools - Spalding Academy, Spalding High and Bourne Academy - entered the Spalding Rotary Club Young Chef Competition held at the  Spalding Academy or the Spalding High School in November of each year. The competition is a highly competitive event in which students are required to prepare a two course meal in two hours at a fixed maximum cost of ingredients
