Raises Money for our Community and Rotary Charities
The function of the Community Fundraising Committee is what it says, to raise monies in order to continue to support both Local and UK Charitable causes.
Our activities, whilst fairly small in number, are varied and always well supported, our most well known and popular being the Christmas Collections. These include a door to door collection on 5 or 6 nights covering different areas in Bexhill. We also collect at Sainsbury's, Aldi and Tesco's and are very grateful for their continued support.
Our very successful Annual Golf Day has just celebrated its 28th year and again we are very grateful to the support we receive from the both the club and staff at Cooden Beach Golf Club.
A smaller but fun (please excuse the pun) fundraiser is our Football Competition where the object is to try and guess the order in which the Premier League will finish. Great fun and causes much competition amongst both Club members and family as to whose "knowledge" or lack of, is the best.
