Fund Raising

Rotary is not primarily a fundraising organisation. Its members seek to use such skills as they may possess to help others and also encourage and enable others to develop and make the most of their talents. However, there are times when funds are required to help those in need and it is the role of the Fund Raising committee to produce a range of activities that will raise sufficient to meet an annual target. This is set by the members at a level that is considered achievable and sufficient to meet anticipated demand.

We organise Race and Quiz Nights, Golf Days, Street Collections during the approach to Christmas, and collections in the event of a major disaster occurring in a remote and poorest part of our world.
