Club Service

In Cookham Bridge Rotary Club we endeavor to serve others and contribute to the community in an environment of fellowship and having fun. To help facilitate this the Club Service Committee is responsible for putting together the varied, entertaining and informative programme that is the cornerstone of the weekly activities of the Club.

We organise speaker evenings, business meetings, charity talks and fellowship events, many including partners. In addition we arrange in liaison with other Club Members theatre trips, musical evenings, outdoor events and trips. We liaise with the Attendance Officer over meeting venue arrangements and we also provide an ‘Almoner’ function for Members with health or other difficulties. The Chairman of this Committee is usually the ‘President Elect’ or one of the Vice Presidents.

As a service to the local community and to promote the visibilty of the Club we have compiled a local directory of local services which provides links and QR codes for Local Services including: -

• Sports Activities
• Libraries, Town Halls and Local Government Departments
• Schools
• Medical areas including doctors, pharmacists and dentists
• Care Homes and Day Centres
• Theatres and Social Clubs
